🌀 Rifts & Procedural Dungeons

Rifts are unstable tears in reality that appear randomly throughout the realm. Each rift spawns a unique procedurally generated dungeon with its own layout, inhabitants, and boss.

🌀 How Rifts Work

  • Random Spawning: Rifts appear unpredictably near areas matching their power level
  • Scaling Challenge: Dungeon difficulty adjusts to provide appropriate challenges
  • Unique Layouts: Room connections, descriptions, and encounters are generated fresh each time
  • Boss Encounters: Each rift culminates in a powerful boss with unique abilities
  • Enhanced Loot: Enemies in rifts have increased chances for rare and legendary drops
  • Temporary: Rifts will eventually close, so act fast!

Dungeon Generation

Each rift dungeon is built from modular components:

Multiple room types: corridors, chambers, halls, lairs, and boss arenas are connected procedurally.

👹 Monster Population

Enemy types are selected based on rift theme and scaled to appropriate difficulty.

💰 Treasure Placement

Loot and treasure are distributed throughout with better rewards deeper in.

👑 Boss Generation

A unique boss is generated with abilities, stats, and loot tailored to the rift.

Rift Commands

rift list - Show all active rifts and their locations
rift accept - Accept a rift quest from a Rift Master
rift complete - Report completion and claim rewards
rift time - Check cooldown until next quest available

📜 Procedural Quest System

Quest Masters throughout the realm offer dynamically generated quests. Each quest is created in real-time based on your level, location, and the current state of the world.

🎯 Hunt Quests

Track down and defeat specific creatures. Target selection based on your level and nearby areas.

📦 Retrieval Quests

Recover items from dangerous locations. Objectives generated from available dungeon content.

🌀 Rift Quests

Enter rift dungeons and defeat the boss. Rewards include Void Shards for cosmetic purchases.

⚔️ Boss Bounties

Take on powerful named enemies for substantial rewards and rare equipment.

🎁 Scaling Rewards

Quest rewards scale with your level and continue to improve even through rebirth and into Ancient levels. The equipment you earn grows with you!

Use the salvage command to break down equipment:

  • Salvage weapons, armor, and jewelry for crafting materials
  • Material type is detected from the item name
  • Higher level items yield better materials
  • Chance to recover gems from enchanted items
  • Crafting discipline skill improves recovery rates

Crafting Disciplines

Crafting is divided into 8 separate disciplines, each with their own skill level (0-100):

🔨 Weaponsmith

Forge weapons at the Forge. Uses weapon materials like Iron, Steel, Mithril, and DragonBone.

🛡️ Armorsmith

Craft armor at the Armory. Uses Leather, Chainmail, Plate, and exotic materials.

💍 Jeweler

Fashion rings, necklaces, and accessories at the Jeweler's Bench.

⚗️ Alchemist

Brew potions and elixirs. (Coming Soon)

🍖 Cook

Prepare magical food with stat bonuses. (Coming Soon)

📜 Scribe
